Requirements

A Service Advisor is a liaison between service technicians and customers. Their most important priority is to provide exceptional customer service. They must have the knowledge and experience to describe accurate repairs and maintenance services to customers. Service Advisors provide a complete and accurate estimate with parts and labor utilizing the technician’s inspection or notes on concern.

  • Valid Driver’s License.
  • Drug free and clean background check.
  • Answering incoming phone calls in a professional yet friendly manner, providing exceptional personalized service to our clients. 
  • Outbound calls include: follow ups on missed calls, missed appointments, voicemails, review of multi-point inspection results and quotes, status updates to customers and calling vendors for sublet and parts as needed.
  • Review daily work logs to determine flow of work in the shop and schedule appointments accordingly.
  • Order parts in advance when possible, to avoid delayed repairs.
  • Check in new customers, update current customer information.
  • Document the concerns the owner has and ask inquisitive questions to get more clarification on concern.
  • Communicate with technicians the vehicle is here, and status update (IE: parts are here, parts on the way, customer is waiting, etc…)
  • Provide a complete and accurate estimate with parts and labor utilizing the technician’s inspection or notes on concern.
  • Research vehicle history for needed service maintenance items still outstanding, advising the customers of what is still needed to maintain the health of their vehicle.
  • Upkeep the housekeeping of the office, wipe down surfaces, keep fridge full and front faced, snack and coffee items stocked daily.
  • Clean bathroom, wipe down surfaces, restock supplies as needed.
  • Take out trash in office, breakroom and bathroom.
  • Sweep and clean floors as needed.
  • Attend shop meetings as required.
  • Review goals with supervisor/owner as set forth in the performance reviews.
